¡Y volví al Camino! - And I went to the Road!

Después de dos largos años volví al Camino el día de San Fermín. Trayecto algo corto, del Alto del Perdón hasta Lorca. A veces caminando; otras veces en coche. Consecuencia de mis problemas físicos… Fui al encuentro de Antonio, un peregrino de Sevilla. Peregrino, pero sobre todo un amigo. 

Una mirada recorrió el espacio que nos separaba a los dos. Luego todo fue silencio. No hace falta que las palabras dejen el alma. El alma todo lo explica, todo lo dice: “Siento que el vacío me invade. Quiero sentirlo, no deseo pensar, quiero sentir. El Camino está vacío sin ti”

Esto escribí en el año 2010, el último Año Santo:

Es Año Santo. Mi peregrinaje ha terminado; el año continúa. Todavía en Compostela, sin volver a mi casa, de nuevo deseo volver al Camino. Hoy, en la plaza del Obradoiro, he vuelto a pedir al Santo que me conceda ese deseo.

After two long years I came back to the Camino on San Fermin´s day. Short stage, from El Perdon to Lorca. Some steps walking, some by car. Consequence of my physical problems ... I went to meet Antonio, a pilgrim from Sevilla. Pilgrim, but mostly friend.

Our eyes met on the space between us. Then, the silence. Is not neccesary for the words to leave the soul. The soul explains everything, says everything: "I feel the emptiness invading me. I want to feel it, I do not want to think, just feel. The Camino is empty without you"

I wrote this in 2010, last Holy Year:

Is Holy Year. My journey is over, the year continues. Still in Compostela, without returning home, I want to come back to the Camino. Today, in the Plaza del Obradoiro, I ask the Saint to grant me that wish
